Dying is a part of life, but it's unlike the rest of life in important ways. There are things to consider both directly before and directly after a death: what to expect from the body, sitting vigil, cultural and religious ceremony, followed by what to expect from the body after death, pronouncing the death, considering burial versus cremation, as well as ways to memorialize loved ones.
