About the Event
2020 brought old and new pains to the surface. These losses are compounded because we don’t know how to grieve. Unprocessed grief becomes trauma and trauma leads to more grief in a vicious circle that’s been going on for hundreds of years. The more we learn about trauma, the more we know that it stays with people over time and across generations. In order to digest trauma and stop this cycle, we need to first acknowledge the pain and, second, learn to grieve. In this session we’ll review the latest science on trauma and explore ways of grieving, personal and collective.
