About the Event
There are different types of grief: the grief that follows the loss of any kind, and grief that often precedes the loss, "anticipatory grief". As a fundamental human process, grief is unavoidable. As such, it pays to lean into grief rather than to run away from it, and that requires patience, time, and lots of support. This session should feel as supportive as it does educational. Together, we’ll explore real life examples of loss and address your questions on the topic.
Join palliative care counselor, BJ Miller, for an informal conversation that begins with a basic overview of the day’s topic before opening up to the group for Q&A and conversation.
